South Coast

The south coast is home to the island’s capital city, Bridgetown, as well as its busiest tourist areas.  It has some beautiful beaches such as Carlisle Bay and Dover Beach. 

Here you’ll find a wide range of accommodation options, from luxury hotels to budget-friendly apartments.  St Lawrences Gap found between Oistins to the east and Worthing to the west features a 1.5-kilometre stretch of bars, hotels, nightclubs, restaurants, and shops along a white powdery sandy beach.

Another popular area in the south of the Island is Oistins, as it is the home of the famous weekly Fish Fry Friday festivals.
