Cavtat

Located on the gorgeous Adriatic Coast, the little resort of Cavtat is filled with history.

Founded by the Greeks in the 6th century BC, its original name was Epidaurus and it is one of the oldest settlements in the region. Now, because of its beauty, it is one of the most famous tourist towns in the area. Holidays to Croatia often include Cavtat as one of the main destinations as the resort is perfect for some peace and quiet,from the scent of pine trees to its romantic sunsets over the Adriatic.

Just 15km south of beautiful Dubrovnik, Cavtat is well-known for its lovely sandy beach, good restaurants and wide range of bars and local shops. Cocooned in clusters of pine trees, the sheltered bay is an idllyic setting.
