This tiny fishing village has some lovely restaurants though and plenty of typical bars to enjoy a drink or two in the evenings. It even has a few nightclubs, if you're so inclined. But the resort is essentially a quiet and laid back haven.
Mlini is perfect for complete relaxation and winding down from life's stresses. As picturesque as any postcard, the resort is sheltered by high mountains and is located in the curve of Zupa Bay. Olive, cypress and citrus trees thrive here and the village itself is charming, quaint and timeless.
You can spend your days lazing the few small beaches, hire a bicycle or even take a stroll in the beautiful countryside. Historic Dubrovnik is only 11kms away and is serviced by local bus every 30 minutes.
A holiday in Mlini is all about a true local experience where Croatia's traditions are upheld and the locals are proud of their heritage. Ideal for sightseeing, there are areas of historical interest and some pretty stone bridges and old mills. The name "Mlini" means mills and the village had many water mills which were operated by streams and brooks nearby.
