Gouvia

Very local and still quite traditional, Gouvia is a small resort with a good selection of tavernas, tourist shops, cafes and bars. For Greek holidays where local flavour is still important, Gouvia offers a good ambience where the visitor is well catered to, but the area has not lost its intrinsic attraction.

Holidays to Corfu can be enjoyed in Gouvia as the resort is almost a continuation of a nearby resort, Kondokali, and both are extremely close to Corfu Town for extra shopping and nightlife opportunities. The local bus operates into Dassia and Corfu Town every 30 minutes.

Gouvia itself is lively and the music bars and atmospheric pubs are buzzing in high season. Long, lazy days are spent between the shingle beaches and several small coves with clear, clean water for bathing.
