The village has whitewashed buildings, the streets are cobbled and it’s free of any cars or buses so you can wander at ease. It’s a labyrinth of winding streets and alleyways, initially made to confuse pirates that now adds to the fun of exploring the village.
Like many beaches around the island of Rhodes, Lindos beach is picture perfect and is in a sheltered bay. Although, unlike many beaches on the island, it has golden soft sands. Above the beach, an ancient fortified Acropolis overlooks the village and is one of the island's biggest tourist attractions.
Within Lindos village, there is a fantastic range of apartments in the centre and just outside the town, you’ll find bigger 4* and 5* hotels.
