Figueretas

Laid back and lively seem like a contradiction, however, Figueretas manages to be both at the same time! Very well known as Ibiza Town's nearest neighbour (only 1 km away), the advantage of nipping into town at the drop of a hat cannot be underestimated and, for truly enjoyable  Ibiza holidays, is not to be missed.

A good sandy beach, flanked by a promenade, has an array of watersports and generally the area is lovely and relaxed by day, making Figueretas a top package holiday venue to Ibiza. As evening falls there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and, not only the opportunity to hop into Ibiza (local bus service operates regularly), but the resort of Playa d'en Bossa on the other side is almost a continuation of Figueretas these days - 3 resorts rolled into one!

Figueretas holidays are ideal for families with lots of infrastructure to suit, but a young clientele is also quite at home as world famous club "Space" and "Kiss" and "Bora Bora" discoteques are not a million miles away..... The picture postcard pretty town of Ibiza must feature on the "to do" list as the Old Town is now a UNESCO World Heritage site and the many pavement cafes and bars were simply invented for people watching. The lively resort of San Antonio attracts a younger clientele who enjoy late nights and very early mornings! Lotus eaters should travel further north to the idyllic resort of Puerto de San Miguel  where paradise awaits, so taking car hire in Figueretas can be a great idea.

There are no flights to Figueretas, but direct flights to Ibiza operate on a frequent basis to  ensure this lovely little resort is accessible and affordable. Ibiza holidays should be on everyone's list as the island is simply gorgeous and simply tailor made for enjoyment.
