Puerto Pollensa

Puerto Pollensa Holidays - Elegant, chic, and sophisticated have all been used to describe the pretty resort of Puerto Pollensa and are all accurate, but perhaps even fall short of the mark. Beautifully situated and huddled around an attractive horseshoe-shaped bay, the Tramuntana mountain range shelters the resort. Puerto Pollensa is a lovely quiet town and has a much more laid-back atmosphere than other areas in Majorca. Puerto Pollensa really has it all in terms of stunning scenery, marvellous sandy beaches, a lovely marina area and wonderful restaurants and bars. The resort is visibly stylish and has an upmarket vibe with many visitors enjoying the local attractions.

The town was one of the first to be inhabited on the island with some buildings dating back to the 13th century; today, there are still many historical references and delightful narrow, cobbled alleyways and natural stone houses. A vibrant weekly market, held in the town square, the opulent ambience of the marina and the magical aura of Pine Walk all combine in a colourful, elegant, and leisurely resort. Puerto Pollensa is a little Mallorquin jewel and certainly worth a visit! It takes around one hour to reach Puerto Pollensa from Palma Airport by car.
