Cala Galdana

The jewel of Cala Galdana is its stunning shell-shaped beach. With sparkling blue waters and soft sand, it’s the perfect sun holiday beach. Cala Galdana is considered to be Menorca’s most picturesque town with locals calling it ‘Queen of the Calas’.

Holidays in Cala Galdana, and indeed Menorca, are ideal for relaxation. Cala Galdana is a modern resort, but there are hamlets and villages nearby like Ferreries with farmers' markets and local shops and crafts. Walk along the cliffs that overlook the bay to discover small secluded coves with crystal waters and deserted beaches. Our favourite is Cala Mitjana with crystal clear waters that are made for snorkelling in. 

Aside from its beautiful beach, Cala Galdana is a great destination for families. From its horse shows at Club Escola Menorquina to the hotels and restaurants, families are well catered for. Many hotels have family entertainment with live shows and musical performances. Some restaurants even have waterslides, playgrounds and mini golf to keep the kids amused.
