What date are mid term breaks?

Mid-Term holidays are a great time for families to get a well-deserved break and spend some quality time together. The only downside? School holidays form the peak season for travel and prices often dramatically increase. Mid-term School Holidays 2024

February 2024 mid-term break 

Schools will be closed from Monday, 12 February 2024 to Friday, 16 February 2024 inclusive.

Easter 2024 Holidays

Schools close on Friday, 22 March 2024, which is the final day of the school term and will reopen on Monday, 8 April 2024.  

Schools that need to shorten their Easter break to make up for time lost due to unforeseen school closures will stay open up to Wednesday, 27 March 2024.

October 2024 mid-term break

Schools close from Monday, 28 October 2024, to Friday, 1 November 2024 inclusive

Christmas 2024

All schools close on Wednesday, 20 December 2024 which is the final day of the school term. All schools re-open on Monday, 6 January 2025.
